Freezer-friendly. Kid-approved. Midnight-snackable. If you’ve got bread, cheese, and sauce… you’ve got pizza. These little French bread pies are perfect for family movie night, after-school snacks, or feeding hangry teens in a hurry. They’re easy to make, easy to freeze, and honestly? Pretty fun to assemble with the kiddos.

Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf of French bread, sliced lengthwise
  • 1–1½ cups shredded mozzarella
  • Pizza sauce
  • Optional toppings: pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, olives, spinach, leftover meat or veggies
  • 1 tbsp olive oil + 1 tsp garlic powder (for brushing)

How To Make ‘Em:

Preheat oven to 375°F.

  1. Spread sauce on each piece, add cheese and toppings.
  2. Brush crust edges with olive oil + garlic powder mix.
  3. Bake 8–10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

TMRT Tip: Freeze extras on a baking tray, then store in a zip bag. To reheat, pop in the toaster oven and boom—pizza night, solved.
